In-Cabinet Fire Suppression Systems
Instead of the entire room, only a certain size cabinet, panel, etc. when smaller volumes need to be protected from fire, in-panel extinguishing systems are preferred.
In this case, only the inside of that cabin is protected and a clean agent suppression system is used. The inside of the panel where the gas is discharged must be sealed.
There are special equipment in the system that provides contact to cut the energy of the system in order to prevent reglowing after gas discharge.
There are two types of in-cabinet suppression systems which are using to protecting electric cabinets;
A) Direct Type In-Cabinet Suppression System
B) In-Direct Type In-Cabinet Suppression System
Direct Type In-Cabinet Suppression System
Gas discharges through the exit hole which is punctured by heat in the tubing system.
It is used in systems with hard to reach sections and small volumes.
Advantages
